Regional Championships in Entrepreneurship

The education and entrepreneurship program, Start Up Programme, annually holds Regional Entrepreneurship Championships. All students from the country's short and medium-length higher education programs (who are members of the Start Up Programme) can participate with their ideas, receive mentoring and feedback from competent businesspeople and experts from the public sector, strengthen their network - and perhaps win cash prizes and mentoring sessions!

Below, you can read more about participation options and find guides for the written concept description, requirements and rules, and link to registration.

Look forward to a day of inspiration, feedback, and learning.

In the spring, the Start Up Programme hosts two Regional Championships, where it's possible to qualify for the National Championship. You'll have the opportunity to pitch your idea and receive feedback and mentoring, as well as hear about your fellow students' great ideas and concepts when the championships take place.

  • One championship for the west: On may 1th at Business Randers. The address is Viborgvej 92, 8920 Randers NV.
The deadline for registration and upload of the written concept description is Tuesday, April 15th at 11:59 PM.

  • One championship for the east: On May 7th at Cphbusiness in Lyngby organized in collaboration with EY. The address is: Firskovvej 18, 2800 Kongens Lyngby.
The deadline for registration and upload of the written concept description is Tuesday, April 22th at 11:59 PM.

Share your Idea

Share Your Idea is part of the spring activities within the Regional Entrepreneurship Championships. It serves as an alternative for those who are not comfortable with the competitive aspect but still wish to practice presenting their idea and receive valuable coaching and feedback. Being part of the Regional Championships, you'll have the opportunity to participate in an inspiring event with students from across the country and observe other teams pitching their ideas

Use of external sources, network, data, and ChatGPT/AI at the Regional Championship:

  • It's always a good idea to conduct research and utilize both qualitative and quantitative sources/data in relation to the development and qualification of your idea. However, remember that if you refer to or utilize various forms of data, research, surveys, interviews, or similar in the written concept description and/or the pitch, specify a source or describe the method if it's an analysis you have conducted yourselves.

  • ChatGPT or other forms of generative language models/AI can also be used as a tool in your process of developing and qualifying the idea and/or the written concept description or pitch. Here, it's important that you process the inputs you receive in a critical and analytical manner, and that you're able to reflect on, demonstrate, and argue how the use of ChatGPT/AI has qualified your idea if the judges inquire about it. Depending on the extent and manner in which you've used ChatGPT/AI, we also recommend that you indicate it as a source on par with other forms of external sources.
